GOVERNMENT ABUSE THE WORSE KIND

I will begin by posing a retorical question to place the reader in a frame of mind to understand the implications.

If I believe that you as a parent are endangering your children by exposing them to immorality on televison and music, and violence, profanity and sexual predators by sending them to public school, do I have the right to come and take them out of your home to "protect" them? And why not? They are at risk and there are studies that would justify such. You say that would be kidnapping, but I am sure it would be for their own good, what is best for them.

If I am one of those of "the People" or "the governed", how do I not have the right or power to do that. In the founding documents of this country, this government it says: "deriving JUST powers from the consent of the governed" (Declaration of Independence), "WE THE PEOPLE, ... do ordain and establish this Constitution..." Now if I as one of "THE PEOPLE" or "the governed" do not have the right or power to take children from their parents, where does the government get their power to do so? They cannot have any power that "WE THE PEOPLE" do not have. The creature cannot exceed the Creator.A body of water cannot naturally rise above its source. If WE THE PEOPLE do not have the power to take children from parents, from where does the government derive that power?

The Founding Fathers never even conceived the possibility that children might be taken from their parents by a tyrannical government. Read the Declaration of Independence and you will discover that of all the crimes charged, not even King George the Third could be so cruel as to do such a thing. It was seen as such a self-evident truth that parents have the ultimate authority from God over their children, that no mention should be neccesary in the Bill of Rights enumerating such God-given rights.

Just try to find mention by the Founding Fathers of justification for violating parental rights, or, until recent years, of cases of duly constituted Constitutional government taking children from their parents to raise in its way. There is a evil tendency in this day to look upon these men of an earlier time as unenlightened and not understanding the world we live in today. I know these men were raised up by God unto this very purpose and that they knew human nature very well and that it does not change. So they established a government through inspiration that would keep human nature regarding government in check. It would be ludicrous to think that they did not care about families which is the very foundation of society, or about children who are to be the future generations of leaders. They knew that if the government did not respect families, the country would cease to exist. They knew that if they did not respect families, these children would not be free to have the type of families they would seek in future generations.

It is not just a matter of the government usurping these powers never granted it, because they never existed even in THE PEOPLE. Therefore the government has arrogated these powers to itself. It is shear arrogance for the government to claim power that doesn't even exist with THE PEOPLE from whom they derive their limited powers. They have become a power unto themselves and left the legitimate basis the Constitution entrusted them with, thereby cutting the ties of obligation from THE PEOPLE for this is what constitutes despotism by very definition. As the Declaration of Independence states: "... when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, IT IS THEIR DUTY, to throw off such government..."

Note how in what must be the most important of God-given rights, that of parental rights, there appears to no longer be any provision for the burden of proof to be upon the state to show evidence of guilt. CPS can and will take children BEFORE due process and even the system of court hearings work on the assumption of guilt and the parent must prove innocence before there is even a chance of getting children back that were given by God.

Perhaps you feel that even if there is a possibility of child sexual abuse it is therefore justifiable to take these children away from their parents, thus arrogating this power. This kind of justification has always led to tyrannical government. Through the same type of emotions the Israelites demanded a king, against the advice of the Lord. The desires and "needs", the EMOTIONS of the people are what brought to power such men as Hitler, Stalin and so many other despots in generations past. "When emotion enters, reason departs."

Human nature being what it is, how can anyone believe that such an arrogant government can raise a child better, or provide more safety than a parent that has struggled and sacrificed for that child? That the government has more of the best interests of the child in mind? It has shown over and over again in arrogance that since breaking out of the constrants of the Constitution, it cares for no-one but itself.

This is reminiscent of the mind control and torture that is inflicted on political prisioners all over the world, but it is supposed to be different here. He is not a delinquent, but instead is a moral and upright young man that will not buy into their controlling and sinful world. Yet many have thought, because of his mother's lies and resentment, that it was justifiable to give him a "better life", but he refuses to acknowledge that it is better than a father that taught him the truth. He certainly feels that his abuse did not start until the day the state came and kidnappped him from a father that truly does love him.

John Adams said, " Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." The other Founding Fathers echoed these same sentiments. As THE PEOPLE, this nation has forgotten God. They fail to trust in Him in the fact that He is in control of who these children are born to, and has thus given righteous dominion to these parents. How can anyone be so arrogant as to believe that they can take children from those whom God has given them to? Are they better than God? Is this not unrighteous dominion, of which MOST men excerse when they get a little power as they suppose, which is exactly the position of government when they exceed the inspired constrants of the Constitution.

If there are problems of child abuse, which I am sure there are in some homes throughout this country, returning to Him is the only real answer. There can be no true healing that comes from the state CPS, psychiatrists or former members of family, community or church that are full of resentment and anger. Healing can only come by and through Jesus Christ our Saviour. If you are desirous to see things turned around, have faith in Him ... not godless government.

There is a price for freedom. No price is to high since all other things rely on this freedom. The problem is that the people of today are so far removed from the types of sacrifices that our Founding Fathers made, they are willing to forfiet their freedom, and those of their children for a mess of potage, or in this case a mess of government. Calvin Coolidge has this to say:

"We do not need more material development, we need more spiritual development. We do not need more intellectual power, we need more moral power. We do not need more knowledge, we need more character. We do not need more government, we need more culture. We do not need more law, we need more religion. We do not need more of the things that are seen, we need more of the things that are unseen. It is on that side of life that it is desirable to put the emphasis at the present time. If that side is strengthened, the other side will take care of itself. It is that side which is the foundation of all else. If the foundation be firm, the superstructure will stand."

I add to this, "We do not need more mothering and things of this world, we need more REAL fathers to stand up and be men, even Men of God."

I do not believe that sexual abuse of children is right in any way, nor am I LDS or have I ever been FLDS, but I am honest enough to say that I do not know whether there has been abuse or not and I DO believe in innocent until proven guilty. Even the ACLU, which I have NOT ever been impressed with, said they refused to comment because it would be arrogant to do so on the basis of media reports. The question is, why can't all the people I see spewing hatred on the basis of heresay, have just a little bit of a Christian charity and give the benefit of doubt.

This is not so much about religion or abuse, but about the liberties given by a loving Heavenly Father and secured by the most holy sacrifice of our Saviour for ALL of us. Any one of you could very well be next to receive a visit from the state. You think that you have nothing to fear because you are part of a popular majority in THIS MATTER, but at some point each will be in the unenviable position of being in a minority in some other matter, especially if you seek to live as Heavenly Father wishes; and with a runaway government, you WILL be vulnerable.
